Curtain - 22swg or 20swg (over 25 square metres) 3” curved traditional galvanised lath. 1.6mm thick galvanised ‘T’ section bottom rail

Barrel - Standard 5” diameter tube, counterbalanced (single or double) sprung barrel, 25” mm shaft, Nylon bearing blocks, complete with sealed for life bearings. Driven via straight cut gears, normally 4:1 ratio. Single reduction gearing as standard, double reduction is automatically added over 18 square metres.

Flags - End plates 6mm thick, Angles 75mm x 50mm x 6mm, 2 ½” Heavy Duty galvanised guide

Locking - Via Sine Plated Chain Keep System (Padlock by others)

Hood - Weatherproof Hood made from 20swg galvanised material. This covers barrel mechanism and curtain from the elements when fixed externally

Fascia - Made from 20swg galvanised material. Normally provided when shutters are fixing between the structural openings.

Bottom Seal - Rubber ‘D’ section type seal to help prevent vermin and water ingress

Wicket Door - Personnel type ‘Wicket / Pass’ door is normally added when the main shutter is the only entry / exit point for the building.

Powder Coated Finish - A Polyester powder coated finish can be added to the shutter to enhance the appearance. A large range of colours are available from the RAL or BS range.

Plastisol - A Plastisol coated finish can be applied to a shutter curtain only. Normally used on internal normal coil fix (giving a colour appearance from the outside). The colour range is smaller than powder coating and is normally used in conjunction with the cladding finish of a building. It is also more competitive that powder coating.

Insulated Roller Shutter

Maximum Size - 7000mm wide x 7000 mm high

Operation - Single phase (240v) or 3 phase (415v) motor via push buttons.

Curtain - Double skin – traditional galvanised lath. Complete with a rubber bottom weather seal. This helps prevent vermin and water ingress.

Barrel - Standard diameter tube, counterbalanced (single or double) sprung barrel, 25mm shaft, steel bearing blocks, complete with sealed for life bearings. Driven via straight cut gears, normally 4:1 ratio. Single reduction gearing as standard.

Flags - End plates 6mm thick, Angles 100mm x 75mm x 8mm, 85mm Heavy Duty galvanised guide. Double brush sealing system.

Motor - Single phase or 3 phase – Flange mounted to end plate. Complete with emergency over-ride chain facility.
